The Piratas de Campeche (Campeche Pirates) from the Mexican Professional Baseball League welcome Cuban third-baseman Michel Enriquez Tamayo.
The Sports Federation in the island confirmed the presence of the player in Mexico.
Aged 33 , Michel has played 15 seasons with his team Isla de la Juventud as his captain and most relevant man, and he has been member for several years of the national squad.
The note says he will remain in the Aztec nation until August when he is expected to incorporate to his local team in Cuba to play the 53rd championship.
