Cuban Michel Enriquez to play in Mexico

The Piratas de Campeche (Campeche Pirates) from the Mexican Professional Baseball League welcome Cuban third-baseman Michel Enriquez Tamayo.
The Sports Federation in the island confirmed the presence of the player  in Mexico.

Aged 33 , Michel has played 15 seasons with his team Isla de la Juventud as his captain and most relevant man, and he has been member for  several years of the national squad.

The note says he will remain in the Aztec nation until August when he is expected to incorporate to his local team in Cuba to play the 53rd championship.

This piece of news is highly appreciated by all baseball fans in Cuba and outside who also welcomed the announcement of the inclusion of their country in the upcoming Caribbean Baseball Series, as it will be represented by this year’s champion.

Campeche Pirates are a AAA-level baseball team playing in the Mexican League based in Campeche. The squad was founded in 1980 and has won two titles, in 1983 and 2004.
